Welcome to the first post of The Wordict. Launched by writing student Lisa Ferlazzo in October 2012, it aims to deliver an aesthetically pleasing word-of-the-day website. New content will be posted daily, and words will be specially selected to assure that The Wordict will deliver interesting, unique and unusual words to its readers. All words will be accompanied by an explanation, example of use, pronunciation, and a relevant, aesthetically pleasing photograph.
